Sloterdijk on building our own identity — Bastard Children

I’m attracted to authors who employ interesting and original ideas in their work, regardless of whether or not I can directly apply their work to my own. This is partly why I like Badiou so much. And it is also probably why I’m being drawn more and more towards the work of Sloterdijk. Here is an interview I find fascinating.

  1. If you like Sloterdijk i recommend you to read Pierre Hadot’s magnum opus “The Veil of Isis”. A very subtle book on the history of n(N)nature that can give you strong keys to the theory of Sphere developed by Sloterdijk. And if you want something even stronger deeper and darker go directly to the highly secretive work of Peter Kingsley (one of the most revered and maybe less known philologist, sometimes its even better like this)
