Where’s the commentary on this one? We need help to see its theology.
I am particularly intrigued by the almost-regal-but-fluttering-and-not-on-quite-in-tempo flutey sounds that introduce the first piece and then continue on in various forms throughout all the pieces.
Our lord is true lord of all whose truth breaks forth in glory but also does not quite fit with our understandings of the world?

Thank you so much for your engagement! The first piece was originally to be something very different. While practicing the night beforehand, I realized that the original idea was not going to work. So the first piece borrowed some ideas from the second two.
The description of the pieces is now included. Sorry, I don’t quite understand your second question.

My last sentence is an offered interpretation of the almost-regal-but-fluttering-and-not-on-quite-in-tempo flutey sounds, with a question mark at the end to ask whether or not I was at all on the mark. Does that make more sense now?

yup that makes. Sense, but I think that would be a pretty generous reading of the improvisations. However, I hope to write them down and working there ideas out more fully in the next year. I think that your last sentence can be applied to the last piece as I write it down. I like that idea a lot.
